The Theorem of Pythagoras for Areas and Volumes
Abstract: We are all familiar with the theorem of Pythagoras for a right triangle, but many people are not aware that there are generalizations of this result in which length can be replaced by area, volume, and the higher dimensional analogues of these notions.
