Land Mine Detection via Convexification

Abstract:  Given the measurements on the ground, we want to detect the location of the land mine underneath and identify its material property. Using the convexificationapproach proposed by M. V. Klibanovand A. Timonov, we construct numerical schemes to solve the inverse problem. Various aspects of both the forward problem and the inverse problem are discussed.
