ATTENDANCE POLICY
Attendance is very important and accounts for 5% of your final grade. If you expect to be absent for any reason please contact me ahead of time. Written documentation for emergency situations is required.

HOMEWORK
If you want to succeed, do your homework. It will help to prepare you for the quizzes, tests, and final and you will be able to keep up in class much better if you come prepared.

TESTS
NO MAKE-UP Tests. If you miss one that will be the one dropped. If you miss more than one, any beyond the first will be counted as zero. All tests must be taken in the lecture section in which you are registered otherwise they will be given zeros. Class Tests and Quizzes are 55% of your total grade. There will be a quiz every Monday. You must have a picture ID to take the tests.

GRADING POLICY
Best 3 of 4 tests, 15pts each

GRADING SCALE

90 - 100% A
80 - 89% B
70 - 79% C
60 - 69% D
0 - 59% F

NC POLICY
If you attend 80% or more of the lectures, take all tests, and have a final average of at least 50% then No Credit (NC grade) will be awarded in place of an F.

September 3, Labor Day Holiday; September 17, Test #1; October 8, Test #2; October 19, Withdrawal deadline; November 12, University Holiday-Veteran's Day; November 19, Test #4; November 22,23 Thanksgiving Holiday; FINAL TBA

OTHER INFORMATION
The FINAL EXAM is 3 hours, comprehensive and the date and time of the final examination is listed in the schedule of classes. You must have a picture ID to take the exam.
