ATTENDANCE POLICY Attendance will be taken in lecture and discussion sections. The attendance will be considered toward the grade of NC and attendance in lecture will be worth up to 3 points of extra credit added to the course grade. Scantron sheets will be needed for attendance in lecture.

HOMEWORK There are assignments from the text book for each lecture. These assignments are listed on the syllabus distributed in class. There will also be 12 CAPA homework sets which will be turned in online for a grade.

TESTS There will be 4 fifty minute tests and a comprehensive final exam. The test dates are: Test 1: Mon., Sept. 17; Test 2: Mon., Oct. 8; Test 3: Fri., Oct. 26; Test 4: Fri., Nov. 16

GRADING POLICY Test Average: 50%; Quiz Average: 10%; Homework (CAPA): 15%; Final Exam: 25%; Lecture Attendance: Up to 3% bonus

NC POLICY If you attend 80% or more of the lectures and discussion sections, take the final exam, have a final average of at least 50%, and have a CAPA average of at least 70%, then No Credit (NC grade) will be awarded in place of an F.
