Stewart HOMEWORK Homework will be assigned for your practice, but will not be graded. However, homework problems will be used for quizzes, and the tests and final will use similar problems. Time will be alloted for class discussion of homework and further discussion is encoraged during office hours. TESTS There will be three tests and final examination.TEST 1 - WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 30;TEST 2 - FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 22;TEST 3 - FRIDAY, MARCH 22;FINAL - FRIDAY, APRIL 26. GRADING POLICY The grade will be out of 100% made up from contributions from the followinf sources: 3 tests - 60% (i.e. 20% each); final - 40%. GRADING SCALE Average Grade 90 - 100% A 80 - 89% B 70 - 79% C 60 - 69% D 0 - 59% F TENTATIVE LIST OF TOPICS Sec. 4.10, and most of Chapters 5-9,11,14 of the text.
