ATTENDANCE POLICY Attendance will be taken daily.

HOMEWORK You are given assignments from the textbook after each lecture, and you will be assigned five collected homework sets throughout the semester. It is very important that you do homework regularly. You should spend at least two hours doing homework outside of class for every hour you spend in class.

TESTS There will be 4 fifty minute tests and a comprehensive final exam. If your final exam score is higher than your lowest test score, your final exam grade will replace your lowest test score.

GRADING POLICY Test Average: 60%; Final Exam: 20%; Quizzes and Assignments: 20%

NC POLICY To earn the grade of NC you must meet the following criteria (1) Regular attendance (5 or fewer absences) (2) Student must have taken all tests and quizzes (3) Course average must be at least 50%; If this criteria is met a grade of NC will be awarded instead of an F.
