ATTENDANCE POLICY
Attendance will be monitored randomly. If THE RECORD shows that you have attended 90% of classes, you will get a bonus of 3% of the final grade. This is to encourage attendance, which is often positively correlated with good performance.

TESTS
Quizzes will be held approximately once a week, the exact day to be announced in advance. Each quiz is 20 points. Three midterms (approximately, September 17, October 15 and November 12) are 100 points each. The final exam is 200 points. The lowest quiz score and midterm score will be dropped. Also, each student will be doing a project worth 100 points. Your final grade will be determined by your score.

80 - 86% B
70 - 76% C
0 - 69% F

NC POLICY
If you attend 80% or more of the lectures, take all tests, and have a final average of at least 50% then No Credit (NC grade) will be awarded in place of an F.
