ATTENDANCE POLICY Attendance in lectures is worth up to 3% extra credit.

HOMEWORK Following each lecture, there is a textbook homework assignment. There are also 12 seperate homework sets called CAPA taken online.

TESTS There will be four class tests and a two hour and fifty minute comprehensive final examination. The lowest class test grade will be dropped. THERE WILL BE NO MAKE-UP TESTS. If you miss one, that will be the one dropped. If you miss more than one, any beyond the first will receive a grade of zero.

GRADING POLICY Class tests are 50% of your final grade, quizzes are worth 10%, homework (CAPA) is 15%, and the final examination is 25%.

NC POLICY If you attend 80% or more of the lectures, take all tests including the final exam, have a final average of at least 50%, and have at least a 70% CAPA average, then No Credit (NC grade) will be awarded in place of an F.
