ATTENDANCE POLICY Student are required to attend classes and take part in discussions and presentations.

HOMEWORK In each class there will be reading and writing assignments which are expected to be done before the next class meeting. Late submission of home work will not be accepted unless it is due to illness or a valid reason to be determined by the instructor.

TESTS There will be two tests and a final portfolio presentation.The tests will consist of questions related to philosophy of teaching mathematics and problem solving. The final portfolio will comprise of three activities: (i)A paper related to teaching or curriculum development. (ii)An activity related to problem based learning. (iii)Developing a Final Examination Quaestion and markscheme for one of the following courses: College Algebra College Trigonometry Finite Mathematics Calculus and Analytic Geometry
