HOMEWORK Homework will be assigned in class. Solutions to the homework will be placed on reserve in the library at the end of each week. | |||||||||||||

GRADING POLICY There will be 4 fifty minute tests and a comprehensive final exam. If your final exam score is higher than your lowest test score, your final exam grade will replace your lowest test score. Also, 5 quizzes will be given with the lowest quiz grade dropped. Your course grade will be weighted as follows: Test average: 60%; Final Exam: 20%; Quizzes: 20%; Attendance: 3% bonus | |||||||||||||

OTHER INFORMATION Calculators: You may use a graphing calculator such as the TI-83 on tests and quizzes, but not a graphing calculator with a CAS (computer algebra system) such as the TI-92 or the TI-89. If you’re not sure whether your calculator is acceptable, please ask. Prerequisites: MAC 2281 (Calculus I for Scientists and Engineers). If you have not passed the prerequisite with a “C” or better, please retake the prerequisite course before you enroll in this course. Note that the grade of “NC” does NOT constitute a passing grade in a course. If you took MAC 2311 (Calculus I with Analytic Geometry), you should enroll in MAC 2312, not this course. | |||||||||||||
