HOMEWORK
Homework will not be collected, but it is essential that you do all of it. If you are having problems with a particular subject, you should work even more problems than are assigned.

TESTS
(1) Short (about 5 minutes) quizzes. (2) Laboratories using Maple. (3) Five one hour exams. (4) Comprehensive Final.

GRADING POLICY
(1) The quizzes will count 100 points, and the lowest one will be dropped. (2) The laboratories count 100 points. (3) Each one hour exam counts 100 points. (4) The final counts 200 points. The lowest of the five one-hour exam grades will be dropped unless the final examination grade is lower than every one of the five one-hour exam grades. In this case the final will contibute only 100 points to your grade instead of 200. You are assured of the grade given below if your percentage falls in the indicated range.
