Class participation is required. Attendance is necessary. If you miss a class then get in touch with another class fellow to obtain class notes. HOMEWORK Homeworks will be assigned everyweek and will be collected the following week. The nature of the homework will involve theory as well as computation with the help of a computer. Late submission of the homework will not earn credit. TESTS Test 1: February 14, 2001; Test 2: April 4, 2001; Final Examination date will be announced later. GRADING POLICY Final grade will be based on inclass quizzes, two tests and the Final Examination. The breakdown of grades will be as follows: Homwork: 15%, Quizzes: 15%,Tests: 2x20% GRADING SCALE Average Grade 90 - 100% A 80 - 89% B 70 - 79% C 60 - 69% D 0 - 59% F IMPORTANT DATES
