ATTENDANCE POLICY
Students are responsible for all materials taught in class. If you miss any classes, please contact your class friends to find out the material covered in the class. You will be allowed to use TI Calculators or computers for assigned problems/projects.

HOMEWORK
Homework assignments will be made at the end of every class but will not be collected. Students are expected to attend classes regularly and to do their grgular (or special) homework assignments. If you do your homework, you will make good grades. Students who neglect their homework may not do well on tests and final examination.

TESTS
2 tests and final examination. Final examination on April 30, 2001, at 16:00-18:50. Some special problems or projects may be assigned two or more times during the semester.

GRADING POLICY
Students must take scheduled tests and final examination unless there is a real excuse documented by the student. (Make-up test is at the discretion of the instructor, and it may be harder.) No partial credit. No make-up finals. If you do not pick up your test paper within 2 weeks from the test date, I will throw away your paper and keep a record of your test score. Final examinations will be comprehensive. Absolutely no talking or cheating in classes, tests and examinations will be allowed. The book listed above will be used to cover some materials listed in the syllabus and other materials as stated in the syllabus. Your seat will be assigned in all tests and final examination. You have to show your ID in all tests and final examination. Withdrawal date March 2, 2001. The grade is based on the average score in 2 tests and comprehensive final examination.
