ATTENDANCE POLICY Attendance will be checked randomly. At the discretion of the instructor, regular attendance will be taken into account when assigning grade in borderline cases. There will be no make-up quizzes. Make-up tests will be given at the discretion of the instructor and only if there is a valid serious reason documentable by the student.

HOMEWORK Homework problems will be assigned every week. It is expected that you work on the problems over weekend, and all the questions you will have will be answered during question and answer (Q&A) sessions. Homework assignments will not be graded. However, one or two out of these problems will be used for quizzes.

TESTS Test 1 - Tuesday, Feb 6;Test 2 - Wednesday, Mar 5; Test 3 - Tuesday, Apr 3;Final - Friday, Apr 27 (13:00-15:50). Quizzes are open book. The final exam and tests are closed book, but you will be allowed to use a one page formula sheet.

GRADING POLICY You can earn 600 points: quizzes - 100 pts total, tests - 100 pts each, and final exam - 200 pts.
