ATTENDANCE POLICY Attendance will be taken. This will ensure fairness for the NC grade.

HOMEWORK Homework will be assigned for your practice, but will not be collected.

TESTS There will be no make-up exams except in extreme circumstances (ex: death in immediate family, military obligation, school activity, etc.) at the discretion of the instructor. You will be asked to provide proper documentation. There will be 2 fifty minute tests (25% each) for each term. The following are the test dates for term A: Test 1: May 24;Test 2: June 14. (Test 3 and 4 for term B will be announced by Ms. L. Dunlop-Pyle)

NC POLICY If you attend 80% or more of the lectures, take all tests, have a final class average of at least 50%, then No Credit (NC grade) may be awarded in place of an F.

OTHER INFORMATION 1) Attendance and doing homework assignments are very important for your success in this class. 2) You may use a graphing calculator such as the TI-83 on tests, but not a graphing calculator with a CAS (computer algebra system) such as the TI-92 or the TI-89. If you’re not sure whether your calculator is acceptable, please ask. 3) Information in this syllabus is subject to change. Any changes will be clearly announced in class
