ATTENDANCE POLICY
In order to be able to do well in this course, a student is should attend the class, read the materials covered each day.

HOMEWORK
Homework will be assigned in each class. It is expected that you try these problems and ask your difficultes during the class or in my office hours. Homeworks will not be collected.

TESTS
There will be four inclass, closed-book tests. Each test will be 25% of the Final grade. The first two tests will be held on the following dates:
Test 1: May 14, 2002
Test 2: June 14, 2002
The dates for Test 3 and Test 4 will be announced later.

GRADING POLICY
The final grade is based on four tests 25% each. No make up tests are planned. If you miss any test for a valid reason (to be determined by the instructor) a different test may be given. The degree of difficulty of the makeup test may be different from that of the regularly scheduled test. Please make all attempts to appear at each test.

OTHER INFORMATION
This course is a continuation of MAC 2282, Calculus II for physics and engineering. Students are expected to have remembered the material of that course. Success in this course will depend upon your ability to solve problems. Please solve problems daily and ask me your difficulties. Together we can make it a good learning experience.This course will be team taught by Ram N. Mohapatra and Ms. Lori Dunlop-Pyle. She will give you another syllabus mentioning her office address and telephone number on June 18.
