ATTENDANCE POLICY
Attendance for this class will be taken on a regular basis. If a student misses no more than 4 classes during the term then a bonus of 3% will be added to the student’s final % average.

GRADING POLICY
The grade is based on 4 tests (in-class, closed book) worth 100 points each, and a comprehensive final exam worth 200 points. There are no make-up tests and a missed test is counted as a zero. However, the final exam, in addition to counting as a final exam worth 200 points, is used as test 5 where it is worth 100 points. The best 4 out of 5 test scores plus the final exam score (a maximum of 600 points) are used to compute the final average. Letter grades are assigned according to the following scale:

OTHER INFORMATION
Calculus II is a continuation of MAC 2311; the course covers most of chapters 7, 8, 9, 11 and 12 of the text. The topics include the calculus of the logarithmic exponential, and inverse trigonometric functions, methods of integration, applications of the definite integral, polar coordinates and infinite series.
