ATTENDANCE POLICY

TESTS
Course grades will be based on periodic announced short quizzes given at the beginning of class, four in-class tests, a skills test component, and a comprehensive final exam. The four midterm exams will occur after each of Chapters 2, 3, 4, 6. Approximate dates for the exams are September 9, October 2, October 28, and November 25. Firm dates for the exams will be announced in class. The final exam is scheduled for Wednesday, December 4, 7:00-9:50pm in the usual classroom.

GRADING POLICY
Quizzes 10%
Tests (4 in-class and 1 skills test component) 65%
Final Exam 25%

GRADING SCALE

AverageGrade
90 - 100% A
80 - 89% B
70 - 79% C
0 - 60% F

NC POLICY
If you attend 80% or more of the lectures, take all tests, and have a final average of at least 50% then No Credit (NC grade) will be awarded in place of an F.
