ATTENDANCE POLICY
Attendance will be checked

HOMEWORK
Homework will not be collected, but it is essential that you do all of them. If you are having problems with a particular subject, you should work even more problems than are assigned.

TESTS
Quizzes, three tests and a final comprehensive exam (tests and exam dates will be announced in class). If your final exam score is higher than your lowest test score, your final exam grade will replace your lowest test score.

GRADING POLICY
Quizzes 10%, tests 60%, final 30%

GRADING SCALE

AverageGrade
90 - 100% A
80 - 89% B
70 - 79% C
0 - 69% F

NC POLICY
If you attend 80% more of the lectures, take all tests, and have a final average of at least 50% then No Credit (NC grade) will be awarded in place of an F.

a) There will be no make-up tests and exam except in extreme circumstances (ex: death in immediate family, military obligation, school activity, etc.) at the discretion of the instructor.
