HOMEWORK Students are expected to try all assigned homework problems. Quizzes and test questions are designed to check understanding of this material. Time will be alloted for class discussion of homework and further discussion is encoraged during office hours.

TESTS There will be three tests and final examination. TEST 1 - THURSDAY, JANUARY 30; TEST 2 - THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 20; TEST 3 - THURSDAY, MARCH 27;FINAL - on period of APRIL 22-28.

GRADING POLICY Average of 3 in-class tests 60%; quizzes 10%; final examination 30%.

NC POLICY If you attend 80% or more of the lectures, take all tests, and have a final average of at least 50% then No Credit (NC grade) will be awarded in place of an F. Attendance will be taken every day.
