ATTENDANCE POLICY Attendance will be taken daily. Attendance in class is crucial to your understanding of the course. Absences for participation in university activities must be approved by the instructor in advance. For those students with borderline grades, five or fewer absences could result in bonus points.

HOMEWORK Students are expected to keep up with the homework listed. It will not be collected. However, in class quizzeswhich will cover the material on the homework, will be given a minimum of twoce each week. Missed quizzes may not be made up unless the absence is excused by university policy (i.e. Religious holidays, or university sponsored events requiring the student's attendance).

TESTS Students will be expected to take two proctored claculus skills tests, which will be administered outside the regular classroom. There will be five in-class tests, as well as a comprehensive final exam.

GRADING POLICY Five Tests 60%; Final exam 20%; Quizzes 10%; Skills tests 10%.

NC POLICY If you have a grade of less than 70%, you may receive a grade of NC instead of F if you have attended 80% more of the lectures, taken all tests (including the two skills tests), and have a final average of at least 50%.
