ATTENDANCE POLICY It is strongly recommended that you attend all lectures. Makeups will be given only when the absence occurs due to religious observances, medical reasons, family emergencies, or official University functions and only when accompanied by appropriate documentation.

HOMEWORK Homework will not be collected. It is advised that you attempt the problems at the end of each lesson. The problems in the book are representative of those problems that will be on the tests.

TESTS Five tests AND a final exam will be given in this course. The lowest test grade will be dropped and the remaining four and the final will each count for 20% of the course grade.

GRADING POLICY The course grade is determined by the top four scores out of the five chapter tests, the final exam (20 % each). In order to pass this course, YOU MUST TAKE THE FINAL
