ATTENDANCE POLICY
It is strongly recommended that you attend all lectures. Excused absences (death in the family, medical problems, official UCF functions etc.) for exams and quizzes will not hurt your overall grade, but your instructor must be notified no later than 24 hours after the absence, and they must be supported in writing within 1 week.

HOMEWORK
Homework will be assigned at the end of each lecture.

TESTS
There will be four midterm exams worth 100 points each, and a comprehensive final exam worth 100 points. They will contribute 80% towards your final grade.

GRADING POLICY
The course grade is determined by the taking the top three scores from the four midterm exams (60%), plus the final exam (20%) and the quizzes (20%).

80 - 89% B
70 - 79% C
60 - 69% D
0 - 59% F

NC POLICY
If you attend 80% or more of the lectures, take all tests, and have a final average of at least 50% then No Credit (NC grade) may be awarded in place of an F.

OTHER INFORMATION
In addition to your discussion groups and the office hours of the discussion group leaders, the Math Lab is available free of charge to all students enrolled in the course. The Math Lab is located in MAP 113, and is open Monday to Thursday from 9am to 8pm, on Friday from 9am to 4pm, and on Sunday from 2pm to 6pm.
