Students are expected to be present for alltests and exams. Attendance will be monitored randomly. If the record shows that you have attended 90% of monitored classes, you will get a bonus of 2% of the final grade. HOMEWORK TESTS There will be four in-class tests and a final. Each test counts for 20% of your grade. Similarly, the final counts for 20%. There will be no make-up tests. If a test is missed for a legitimate reason (to be determined by the instructor) then the final (comprehensive) exam will be counted twice, as a missed test and as a final exam. GRADING POLICY GRADING SCALE Average Grade 90 - 100% A 80 - 89% B 70 - 79% C 60 - 69% D 0 - 59% F IMPORTANT DATES Withdrawal Deadline: Friday, February 27, 2004.Holidays: Jan. 19, March 8 --13.Last day of class: Monday, April 19, 2004.Final Exam: To be Announced.
