OTHER INFORMATION
This syllabus also applies to all of my Spring 2004 sections. Quizzes: One quiz will be given every week. The quiz will usually contain 5 questions worth 2 points each for total of 10 points per quiz. Quizzes will count 10% toward your final grade. Attendance Policy: Attendance records will be kept by quizzes taken. This will be reported to Mr. Griffiths. Excused absences are allowed only per the policy guidelines provided in the main lecture session. Quiz Make Ups: There will be no make up quizzes. Class Format: In the discussion section, we will review material covered in the previous week’s lecture sessions. Prior to the discussion section, work the problems at the end of each chapter. Questions are encouraged and example problems will be worked. Near the end of class you will be given the weekly quiz to take.
