ATTENDANCE POLICY It is strongly recommended that you attend all lectures. Excused absences (death in the family, medical problems, official UCF functions etc.) for exams and quizzes will not hurt your overall grade, but your instructor must be notified no later than 24 hours after the absence, and they must be supported in writing within 1 week.
HOMEWORK You should complete the questions at the end of each lesson, as they will improve your success on the quizzes.
TESTS There will be five exams worth 100 points each, and a comprehensive final exam worth 100 points. The use of graphing calculators is not permitted, nor is the use of cell-phone calculators. Anyone who is more than 15 minutes late for an exam will automatically receive a score of zero
GRADING POLICY The course grade is determined by taking the top four scores from the five exams, plus the final exam and the quizzes
